Corporate Social Responsibility
The need for affordable homes has been recognised for well over 100 years and today affordable homes represent approximately 20% of all residential properties in the UK. Despite this, a chronic shortage of affordable homes exists in many parts of the country, resulting in this becoming a major social and political issue.
Prior to approving an investment FAH commissions a review by The Good Economy Partnership; an independent social consultancy to ensure that the social assessment framework adopted by FAH is being met.
FAH considers that the availability of high quality housing that is fit for purpose is a major factor in enhancing life experience and in attaining better social outcomes including, health, education and employment.
